This is a family walk to discover the landscapes frequented by ibexes in May and enjoy a stop at the Tourond refuge to taste homemade pies and tarts and have a cold drink while contemplating the magnificent scenery.

 

Itinerary :

 

From Pont du Fossé take the D944 (Orcières Merlette).

After 4 km turn left onto the D944A (Champoléon valley).

After passing Les Borels, at the intersection after the bridge over the Drac Blanc, leave the main road to go up to the left (Les Fermonds 1km). Park in the car park.

Follow the sign to the refuge du Tourond.

From the refuge you can reach the Pisse waterfall (20 minutes).

Descend by the same route or take the path that crosses the torrent in front of the refuge. Go down the right bank of the torrent on a shaded path to the Borels car park.

On your left, a path goes up to the village of Fermonds.
